REBELLION TO FACE THUNDER AND LIGHTNING ON CANADA DAY

The Toronto Rebellion, coming off two successive victories, head into their first regular season battle with the Niagara Thunder and Lightning
in Oakville this Wednesday. The coming match should be the Rebellion’s
biggest test to date. Kick-off for the Under-20 match is 2:00pm and the
Senior Men take the field at 4:00pm. Both games take place at Crusader Rugby Park in Oakville, Ontario on Wednesday July 1st, 2009.
TORONTO (June 2009) – Rep rugby team the Toronto Rebellion headed to La Belle Province this past weekend and scored an important victory over their French rivals, the Québec Caribou. The Rebellion brought a mixed team of Under-20 and Senior Men’s players to the Montreal suburbs taking on the Caribou and vanquishing them 29-15.

(U20) began the Rugby Canada National Junior Championship season with a
hard-fought but emphatic victory over the visiting Ottawa Jr Harlequins at
Fletcher's Fields over the Victoria Day weekend.
